What we collect

When you create a Washam account, we collect your name and email from Google sign-in. We also collect any pickup details you save: address, preferred time window, and notes you provide for the courier or partner.

Your WhatsApp number is collected only when you message Kuwa using the secure reference code — we do not ask for it through a form.

How we use it

We use your information to coordinate pickup and delivery, to share status with you on WhatsApp, and to route orders to the right partner laundry.

What we share

We share only the information a partner needs to clean and return your laundry — typically a first name and a pickup window. We do not sell your data.

Payments

Payments are processed after pickup confirmation. Card and mobile money details are handled by the payment provider; Washam does not store full payment instrument data.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by messaging Kuwa or emailing support. Order records may be retained for accounting and legal requirements.

WhatsApp messaging

We use WhatsApp to communicate about orders, verification, and support. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us by email.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, service monitoring, and secure infrastructure.
